A Message from our President!
Alpha Kappa Psi strives to follow our mission of developing the next generation of business leaders. The Chi Rho Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi was founded in 2014. Which means we are entering our twelfth year of providing growth and opportunities to our Brothers. Over those twelve years, we have nearly perfected our strategy to make sure every Brother maximizes their potential at High Point University.
Our chapter preaches business ideals and skills. We help develop public speaking, critical thinking, and a passion for learning. I have personally grown in all of these areas since becoming a Brother nearly three years ago. When I entered college, I never thought I would be the person I am today. Although I had a sense of a career path, I didn’t know how to get there. Alpha Kappa Psi helped me find a sense of who I am supposed to become. Due to the skills we help develop, and the network we provide, I am now equipped to build a life outside of college and leave behind a legacy.
Nothing is more important, however, than our community. Every single Brother in our fraternity has formed a tight knit connection with each other. So much so, that we consider each other's family. It is truly inspiring watching some of your best friends succeed because of the network we have created for each other.
I have grown a tremendous amount because of Alpha Kappa Psi. If being the leader of the chapter has taught me anything, it is that everyone contains the ability to make a change in this world, and everyone has the potential to become the next business leader. They just need a community that believes in them.
